Roberts 'Spray' ketch 'Bluebeard'. Built by Dennis Naylor, in
New Zealand. The interior is beautifully finished in kauri and
rimu. 52 ft. x 14'6" x 5' draft. Dry weight 23 ton. Forward
double cabin with hanging locker, vanity w/ mirror and drawers,
chain locker, rope locker and 2 xtra storage lockers.
Salon with table and seating for 6 and a quarter berth setee for 4. Under floor storage and diesel heater. Galley is large and open. Large counter space with double sink and drainboard, 133 ltr. fridge w/sm. freezer, 4 burner glasstop stove w/grill and oven and microwave. Storage under sink, 5 large drawers inder port counter, lg. corner cabinet next to stove and under floor vented vegetable storage. On port side above the counter, running to the salon are 8 storage cabinets plus 4 more on starboard side above setee. Behind and under the setee is all storage area.
Starboard of the galley is the head with full size separate shower, sink with vanity and large porcelin electric toilet w/lectra san.
Wheel house is 10 x 11, has a quarter berth setee, cabinet with counter (approx. 2x4) 3ft. high. The steering station has a full set of engine guages as well as rudder indicator. Electronics consist of VHF radio, GPS, depth sounder, chart plotter, auto helm, electronic isolator, and engine controls as well as a large lighted compass.
Aft cabin is approx 11' x 11'. has full size double bed, dresser with 6 drawers, hanging locker, 9 large drawers. There is both a 40 ltr. and a 60 ltr. Engle's fridge/freezer.
The cabin also contains a 2 person setee (or loveseat).
On deck: Electric anchor windless with remote plus deck switch. 4 deck winches, 4 large storage boxes, 3 anchors, 4 fenders, 2 boat hooks. Second steering station is topside aft with auto helm, rudder indicator and engine control. On top of wheel house is radar arch w/ ss bbq and wind generator. Also one large solar panel. One 8ft. hard bottom Aqua Pro dinghy with 3.3 Mariner Outboard.
Engine room: 80 horsepower Cummins Diesel with 1800 hrs. 6.5 kva genset (2500 hrs), 6 house batteries, 6volt 234 amp each, 1 large 12 volt start battery, 1 12 volt genset battery, 20 ltr. accumulator tank, water pump and hot water heater, approx. 20 gals. Tankage: 510 ltrs. fuel and 820 ltrs. of water. Boat is equipped with water catchment system.
There is a fold down boarding platform, starboard midship, and a boom mounted forward for launching the dinghy.
