 Item 33. For Sale "Raincoast" an Ian Ross designed ketch rigged sail boat of 63 feet overall, launched 1981 in Vancouver. Boat is extremely well built by professionals with many innovative features by the owner who is a master mariner, currently on tugs. He had intended to charter this boat around the world until health problems. It has a large nav. station with a chart table holding hundreds of world charts worth $800 or $900 alone. He used it as a local charter boat as well as a live aboard. Deck is ferro cement with 3/4 inch plywood on top overlaid with teak planking. The design incorporated 24 - 4" frames @ 26" o.c. thus allowing for insulation, a double bottom and watertight bulkheads. While not overly ornate but strong and functioal, the high quality workmanship is all in teak and oak with S.S fittings. It has an ISUZU diesel DH120 with around 500 hours. the boat can be seen on our web site www.pacificnorthwestboatsales.ca There is three skylights, a center open cockpit with canvas cover, masts are aluminium and the sails have only been lightly used. Gross tonnage is 48.98 while it has a 9 ft. draft and 5 ft of free board. Diesel tanks are 2 x 650 gals while water is 1300 gals. Drive is with 2 inch s.s. shaft, reduction gear 2.0:1, with one 26 inch 3 blade bronze prop. The inside condition is excellent with two diesel stoves and 60 gal. tank, one freezer and two fridges provide food storage. Two heads with showers. It can comfortably sleep 9 with space available for more. Engine room, full head space, contains and array of pumps and generators plus fire systems. 12, 24 & 120 shore power, voltage electrical systems. Last surveyed May 1997 and report is available.

 Item 30. For Sale. a new build Peter Ibold designed Endurance 35. Her hull construction was begun in 1979. The owner/builder, an orthopedic surgeon, used only the finest materials available in her completion. The joiner work and systems are of the best quality. She has been continually worked on and kept covered or indoors to her now 80% state of completion. The only major equipment left to furnish is the mast and rigging. Interior and systems need to be completed. She has only been floated once to find her lines. Her recent survey value was put at $275,000.
