Hi, I have a friend who recently discovered major
rot in the wood stringers of his 1978 Trawler. We have been discussing
alternate materials for replacement and wondered if we could
make new stringers out of ferro-cement. We would basically make
a mold, lay up the stringers and then fiberglass over them. Does
anyone have any experience in this or have any suggested methods,
mix recipies or resources?
