Samson, Sampson, and Simpson. I've seen all three
names used. Are they three different people, or typos? If they
are different, then I'd really appreciate a discription of who
each of these people are. Thanks, Justin Burns...jjburns@sprynet.com
Hi Justin, .........John Samson was a builder
of ferroboats in Canada. He formed a company along with several
designers called Samson Marine Designs Ltd. He retired from the
scene and sold the business around 1974. The Samson designs are
available from Hartley & Brookes Associates at www.hartley-boats.com
Sampson is a mis-spelling of Samson and Simpson was one of the
Samson group designers. Regards Colin Brookes...colb@xtra.co.nz
